Maggie (#1984) came into our family two months ago today and she has been a joy to have in our family pack. Maggie is about a year old now and full of spirit, vim and verve. She is a sweet and loving member of our family and responds well to all the attention she is getting.

As with all dogs, Maggie has her own distinct personality and she is all retriever and so much more. Maggie has bonded with our other dog Rudy who is also an adopted family member. Things were a bit hectic at first but they have both settled in and Maggie seems so happy now in her forever home.

We live on an acre with so much room for Maggie and Roo to run, play, wrestle, and just have fun! Maggie's delight seems to be in retrieving rocks, sticks, tennis balls, and whatever else she wishes to bring us each day and night. We have her "gifts" to us piled on our deck table and the pile just keeps growing. We have enrolled Maggie May (as I call her) into obedience school and she is doing very well with the training. She is a very bright, intelligent individual.

Maggie compliments our family "pack" and is a joy to have her with us. We now fully understand why people love the Goldens. She gives so much of herself and is so eager to please. Maggie is home now and she is a happy girl and we are too!
