Golden Bond Rescue of Oregon

Adopted December 29th, 2009

Cherry (Cherokee #1907) was adopted in December from Golden Bond and she arrived on the 18th. She is very well loved and is admired as such a good dog by every one we meet from the family to the mailman! She would not let me out of her sight for quite a while and even now checks on me. She must have been frightened at some time as she is very jumpy when she hears loud noises. She gets a hug and is okay. Also, at times she will not eat but does get to her food, perhaps at midnight. She wants me to hold paws with her and will sit there for a long time!

She must have been well trained because she minds everything she is told and is very patient with me as I sometimes have a time getting down the front steps. I tell her to stay until I get down and she waits until I say "okay". She is very quiet and loves to take naps. The vet is very impressed with how well she behaves while she is being examined. I'm so happy I got her.
