Golden Bond Rescue of Oregon

Hank (#1938), aka Buddy, as he is known now was very confused when he first became a member of our family. He really thought he was just visiting and his original owners would be showing up at the door anytime. He would gaze out the front window for several weeks just waiting for this to happen. Our year old Golden Sadie Anne would entice him to play and then he would roll and chase and play tug of war with various toys, then he would forget for a short time his patient waiting.

What he enjoys the most is a huge backyard where could run run run with Sadie Anne. Buddy aka Hank has been a member of our family for almost two months now and he is very happy with his new home and family. Last month he refused to jump in the back of our Escalade and we would have to pick him up and that is not easy with a ninety pound dog. I finally realized he did not want to leave the house thinking he might never come back. After many rides he now jumps in for a ride with pleasure and knows he will always return to his new family's home.

He turns two this month and he is such a gentle giant with a golden heart, his tail never stops wagging. Buddy's color is so stunning being the classic red while Sadie Anne is a medium gold. What a pair they are!
