Golden Bond Rescue of Oregon

Joe, #1949, joined our family with a past reputation of being an expert “Escape Artist”.

He soon proved his cleverness by going for a couple of exploratory trips around out rural neighborhood - taking his new friend, Eddie, (our 5 year old Golden) with him.

As we have had this problem before (with Eddie) , we simply added 4" field fencing, and two new gates, to our existing fences, and Joe has stayed home since then. He now has about an acre of “Back Yard” to play in 24/7 (thanks to Dog Doors to the house), and another acre for daily walks.

As far as Joe is concerned, he immediately became a member of the family and a devoted friend for Eddie. He is sweet, friendly, obedient and very smart.

As Joe joined us before Christmas, we had the opportunity of having him meet Santa (at a fund raiser for the Newberg Animal Shelter). Joe is on the left in the following picture - Eddie is on the right.

We are deeply indebted to Golden Bond for finding such a perfect replacement for our older Golden, Wrecks, who passed away last July.
