Adopted September 17, 2011
Bella #2175 has gone to her forever home where she will have the forever family that she needs. Since her new people recently had one of their Goldens go over the Rainbow Bridge, Bella is the perfect lady to fill the empty place in their hearts.
Bella's Available Story
Hi! I'm Bella #2175! I'm a joyful, healthy, 9.5 year old girl with wavy, golden fur and a happy smile. I have nice clean, white teeth I'm proud of, and warm brown eyes. Here are some things I've been called: loyal, sweet, responsive, affectionate, darling, pretty, attentive, and happy. I like to sit on the couch with my mom and follow her around in the house. I like to sleep down on the floor right next to her, and once in awhile I like to sleep on the bed! I have nice Golden foster siblings and three cats. We all get along great. I really like other dogs, cats, and people!
I like riding in the car, going on walks - long or short, playing with other dogs, sitting close to my mom, and rolling over on my back for pets. My foster mom says I cock my head to the side a little bit when she calls my name, and she loves that. I also like to tuck one of my legs under me when I lie on the floor. I think she loves me a lot because she notices those little things about me! She also says I have really silky fur and I remind her of Lucille Ball, because I have wavy reddish fur, long legs, and I'm pretty! I know my name really well and come quickly when I'm called. Well, I should qualify that: Sometimes at the park I get distracted and "forget" to come right away! Whoops! But I'm a very good girl and want to make people happy. Yesterday at the park I was so happy and excited that I howled!
I had a great family for most of my life. They took me on nice long walks. They hated to give me up, but had to for housing reasons. They were so glad that Golden Bond would find me a WONDERFUL home. They didn't want anything less for me. I have lost a little weight since my pictures, and know that's healthier for me. But I love to eat! I jump up and down with glee when it's time for my special treat!
I had a mast cell tumor removed from my hip a month ago, and the vet said I did just great. The surgery went well and the news was good. They don't expect me to have any problems with it. I have a clean bill of health and I'm so thankful. I'm just a happy, healthy girl who wants to be loved almost as much as I would love you.
Thanks for reading my story. My foster mom is looking for someone to fall in love with me as she has, and appreciate me as much as she does. She said it didn't take her long to fall in love! She will be happy to tell you all about me!
Love, Bella
