Cruiser is a jewel to us. He's settled in quite nicely. With his playmate Barkely, a miniature schnauzer, and all the toys ( three in his mouth at a time) to quiet time on the couch, head in my lap dozing and content. He rarely barks and never at company at the door. He's met and is intrigues by the outdoor cat. Can't understand why she likes to rub his let but he does ok. Cruiser even gives domain to the alpha dog , Gretchen. All get along well.
He loves to watch animal Planet, particularly Emergency Vet with all the sounds of the other dogs. He's not quite sure that they are not all visiting in the next room!
We've watched him become more and more comfortable and settled in. Expressing his devotion to love and be loved. He knows he is home, home forever.
He loves his walks, chasing those tennis balls down and meeting guest with his dog smiles, turning circles in front of them. He can't get enough of them.
Cruiser sleeps at my side on his bed, as does Gretchen next to him. Never moving a muscle until I rise for the day. Cruiser is so easy going, devoted, gentle and loving. We are blessed . Thank you Golden Bond Rescue for such a sweet boy. He is truly treasured.
