Hello,
Do you remember me? I am Daisy. A year ago, I left my foster home
with
Yayoi, PJ, and Hobbes to Seattle. We drove about 5 hours to my
new home. They love me very very much and I love them too. I also
have an Aunt and Uncle now. They are my mom and dad's friends.
They are looking forward to adopting a dog like me but for now,
I am getting all the attention and love. They come see me more
than a couple times a week, and my aunt kidnaps me once in a while
and take me home with her and she pets me, sings songs for me,
tells me how pretty I am, and plays with me all day long.
My brother Hobbes had surgery,
TPLO, about a month ago. He is not allowed to play with me while
he is recovering from the surgery. I understand it is very important,
so I just hung with him quietly so that he won't get too excited.
My mom and dad got me a peanut
butter cake from Three Dog Bakery to
celebrate my one year anniversary. I shared it with my brother
after
dinner. It was delicious.
I really wanted you to know I am happy and I am so thankful for
finding my forever family. And my mom and dad tell me how happy
they are to have me.
Love,
Daisy

- Dear Golden Bond Rescue,
Three weeks have been past since I left you guys to live with
the Fox's.
I am doing fine. I now have a brother, Hobbes, who keeps asking
me to play, I mean 24 hours a day. I was a little shy and quiet
at the beginning but not any more. I am still well behaved, though.
- Every weekend, Yayoi and I
take a walk without PJ and Hobbes; we call it
"Girls Day out." It's kind of nice to be with Yayoi
by myself. We stop at
a the park near my house before get back home. We sit on a picnic
table
watching people, dogs, and birds, and she pets me slowly and
nicely, and I
love it! They let me do whatever I want except being on the furniture.
I
really like to be on the couch and bed with them, but they tell
me that it
is not fare for Hobbes since he never had been allowed to be
on them. But
when they leave us home, not often at all, the furniture is mine.
I jump
on the couch and watch outside or take a nap.
Every morning before Yayoi leaves home to work, she gives me
a toy with
peanut butter in it. I really don't want her to go but I can
take it as
long as I can have the toy.
Thank you so much for rescuing me.
Love,
Daisy
