Orvis Days
October 8, 2011 found many Golden Bond Rescue adopted and foster dogs visiting employees and customers at Orvis Days at the Orvis store located in Bridgeport Village. Orvis had invited Golden Bond Rescue to help them celebrate the opening of their new Bridgeport Village store. Golden Bond Rescue volunteers were thrilled by the turn-out of so many recently adopted dogs, like Goldie (#2163) and Dexter (#2153). The visiting Goldens were treated to huge smiles from Orvis customers and hours of snuggles and hugs. Thank you to Orvis for the invitation and to all the volunteers and adopters who turned out to make the event fun.
