Crossed the Rainbow Bridge August 20, 2005

On August 20, 1999 we were entrusted with Ruffles (#00003-BN). On August 20, 2005 Ruffles left us for a place where he will forever be young and his arthritic joints will never bother him again. According to the papers we acquired about the time of his adoption, he was born in December 1991, which I believe would make him rather old for a Golden.

We will miss Ruffles terribly, but are thankful for the six years that he spent with us. If you could have seen his reaction when we went for a home visit prior to the adoption you wuld have noted that Ruffles picked us as much as we picked him. When I walked in Ruffles all but announced that here was his "dad" and that no one else would do. While he was definitey part of the family, including the daughters cats he was "dad's" special friend.
