Golden Bond Rescue of Oregon

Crossed the Rainbow Bridge November 17, 2004

Mandy (#087) came into Golden Bond Rescue unloved and unwanted, after being tossed from a car. But she crossed the Bridge knowing that she filled my heart and home with much love.

Mandy was perhaps one of the sweetest, most loving and gentlest of dogs. She was a mix of Cocker and Golden and was like a "Teddy Bear" dog. She loved her hugs so the nickname was most appropriate.

She was a quiet girl, but didn't need to say much as those big brown eyes told it all. She was gentle, quiet, patient and very obedient. Mandy was one of those little souls that when she was gone, a huge hole was left in the hearts of all who had come to know her.

To this day, I expect to turn and see her following me around the house. When she's not there I smile and know that my sweet girl is romping joyously at the Bridge, waiting until I join her, and she can once again follow me everywhere I go. I love you sweet Mandy.
