My wife Kay and I made the very difficult decision and had Stormy #0000-BN put down this past Monday due to numerous medical problems. We adopted Stormy from Golden Bond Rescue 5 years ago. You may recall Stormy, who had been found wandering around Portland in July 1999 after a series of thunderstorms had moved through the area. Thus the name "Stormy", since he had no ID.

We cannot express in written word what Stormy meant to us and our family. Stormy had the most pleasant personality of any dog we have ever had or known. What compansionship we shared with one another! We took him everwhere we went unless he was not allowed. He loved to ride in the car! He was like one of our children. We agonized for months on whether or not to put him down. It was one of most difficult decisions we have ever made and we now miss him dearly. In the end, it was best way for him to go. I don't know what kind of life he lived his first 8 years, but his last 5 were the best he could have ever had!

We would like to express our thanks to your organization for providing us the opportunity to have had Stormy. Perhaps in the near future we will want to explore adopting another Golden from you.
