Bailey #1069
Crossed the Rainbow Bridge 2008
We are very sad to report we lost our beloved buddy, Bailey (#1069), earlier this year. We adopted him at the age of seven and he was my constant shadow for almost four years. Bailey was a great companion and was very attached to us, and we miss him daily. He loved everyone he met and everyone loved him. Being a mature adult, his favorite activity was lying in the doorways, waiting for his chance for a car ride or walk. His easy-going personality was unchanged through a minor stroke and a several month battle with squamous cell carcinoma in the roof of his mouth. It was a difficult decision, but we chose to make Bailey comfortable and not to surgically remove part of his jaw.
We are forever grateful to Golden Bond for rescuing Bailey and entrusting us with his care.

Adopted August 1, 2004
HI, I'm Bailey (#1069)! My dad, mom and boy came down to my foster home to meet another dog, but I think they fell in love with me at first sight. I guess the boy fell in love with me from the Golden Bond web site first, so thanks Golden Bond for listing me out there!
Am I beat — it was a long ride from Oregon to my new home in Washington. Plus training new owners is exhausting. So far they are trained to be my dog door, personal trainers (walkers), pooper-scoopers, chauffeur around town, and they are very good in retrieving balls when I lose interest. Mom says we are going to obedience classes, which is great — sure hopes she learns something. I miss all my old pals at my foster house, but Mom promises me playmates once I "settle in" and get comfortable. I look pretty comfortable to me. I have even met a great looking female golden across the street — hubba-hubba!!!
Thanks to all the good people at Golden Bond for taking care of me and helping me find my forever home. I think I'll be happy here forever!
