Golden Bond Rescue of Oregon

Crossed the Rainbow Bridge: September 9, 2008

On the morning of September 9, 2008, I found Gracie, formerly Sunshine #42. laying, as if taking a nap, by our little pond. She is gone and I will miss her very much.

What drew me to look for her there (after hours of searching) was a shiny object floating near her and I wondered what it was. Somehow a mylar heart-shaped balloon with "I Love You" written on it had floated down to land there. Yes, I know, a coincidence... but "I Love you too."

She was born February 1998, but I received her from Golden Bond Rescue when she was about 1-1/2 years old. I am having people I know donate to Golden Bond Rescue in memory of her. I want to thank Golden Bond Rescue for introducing me to her and would like to let you know that she was the most special joy to me. Gracie had been with me for about 9 years, but will stay with me forever. I miss her so much.
