Golden Bond Rescue of Oregon

Crossed the Rainbow Bridge on May 5, 2009

Ellie (#1701) became a Golden Bond dog in early March of 2008. She had been an outside dog all her life of 14 years. It was obvious from the start that she was in great need of lots of love by way of hugs and kisses. In fact, as I sit here trying to write this her nose keeps punching me for attention.

Ellie had several litters of puppies before being spayed by the owner and I have met several of those dogs and they are wonderful Goldens.

Ellie became a permanent foster not due to her age but several medical issues that kept popping up. She currently has an abscess in her mouth that won't clear up so she is living with Howard and Patsy and their three Goldens: Sarah, Mr. Bailey, and Justin. All get along very well and she is a nice addition to the household. However, I did have to go back to driving a Suburban due to the fact that all four were too crowded in the back of the Honda. We all love this little girl who constantly has a stuffed toy in her mouth.
