Ollie #0006-BN
Crossed the Rainbow Bridge January 2009
Ollie (#0006-BN) was a VERY handsome boy with a crooked tail and a golden heart! He had the most beautiful blonde coat, captivating eyes and a soft yet kingly face. He lived with his mom, Judy and two kitties, sweetie and cuddles. Ollie had a lot of character, mostly consisting of pure happiness and glee wanting to play continually. He possessed a strong need to connect and he made the best eye contacts, communicating his love and affection through the need to be touched and through his soft brown eyes. He truly had a loving way and spirit that would wrap around your heart in an instant!
Ollie was a devoted pet and loved his mom deeply. She was the center of his universe, as he was to her. They played together, slept together and had fun going places together. They especially enjoyed their trips to the beach house, their walks in the sand and valued their companionship which was beyond the best! Ollie was well taken care of and was fed the best foods, including his favorite "sweet potatoes."
One of Ollie's favorite things to do was to go to the dog park. He was very sociable, got along with everyone and didn't let his size stop him from playing with his much smaller friends. He was gentle, sweet natured and funny to watch. His favorite trick was to flip forwards while running, landing on his back at which time his buddies would attack him and the wrestling match began.
When Ollie was diagnosed with cancer and given just a few months to live, he didn't give up nor did his mom. He had his hind leg removed and lived life as normal as possible. He again learned how to walk in the sand, run in the wind and wrestle with his friends. He fully enjoyed his last few months and did all the things he loved. Ollie crossed the Rainbow Bridge early on this year. His strength and memory will be forever treasured and our hearts forever touched. The day will come when we meet again — until then, go and play and remember we love you and this isn't the end.
Always and forever,
Your precious Judy, family and friends
