Feather #1760

Crossed the Rainbow Bridge May 16, 2011

Feather #1760Feather #1760Sadie, Sadie prancing lady. We were so happy to bring Sadie (originally Feather,# 1760) home and be part of our family, but our time with her was too short. She was so loyal, loving, and fun. She let Dot pull her across the floor when they played Tug, loved to swim, and was my faithful shadow wherever I went. She was such a special girl and will always be remembered with a smile. We miss her.

Sadie had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of Leukemia three months prior.

Feather #1760From Feather (#1760), now Sadie:  I've found my forever home. At first I thought I'd be leaving and kept going to the front door. I played with the other golden (Dot) but didn't want to get too attached. She played, but wasn't too sure about me either. My mom kept assuring me this is my home and forever family. I'm beginning to believe her. I'm never lonely, when everyone is at work or school Dot and I watch the house, play tug and wrestle, and then rest. When school is out we play chase outside and then have dinner. Most every evening plenty of people (they are called teenagers) say hi and give me a pat when they come to do homework or visit my people brother and sister. I even have a people brother from Romania. He's staying until June then goes back to his forever home. He gives me lots of attention because he has two dogs at home and he misses playing with them. Dot and I are the luckiest dogs, we are loved so much.

Sincerely,

Susan
